We actually use this airbed as our main mattress. It is more comfortable than the expensive, heavy, bulky spring mattresses, and at a fraction of the cost.Pros:Easy to inflate.Easy to store.Lightweight.Fits queen sheets best.Very comfortable to sleep on.Doesn't transfer motion too much.Seems to be very durable for indoor use, after all, we use it daily.Holds air well.Cons:Kings sheets fit, but are a little large.Sheets tend to not stay tucked in well.Overall:We haven't tried this air mattress outdoors, but for inside it works great.
I bought this mattress and threw away my big-name xxpedic top mattress and my lower back pain is at least 50% better. It needs some air about every week-10 days and gauging how hard to inflate it takes some experimentation. My aging bones don't do well with a conventional firm mattress any more and this is a cost-effective solution if you don't mind a bit of maintenance. I use mine with a 2" memory foam topper and a conventional mattress pad on top of that. I don't recommend it by itself.the surface isn't very comfy without a good topper.but the price is so low that the extra for the topper doesn't hurt. It's sort of a cheapie sleep-#.
The Coleman air bed is an excellent product. It's very hard to find king sized air beds anymore so finding this one was great luck. We spend 5 months of the year away from our home and use the air bed for our regular bed while away. It holds air indefinitely and is very comfortable with a good mattress pad covering it.
I ordered the king size Coleman Air Mattress from Amazon and the first one I received would not hold air and went flat within an hour.I bought a queen size at a local store and it went flat over night. They (Amazon) replaced the first king size mattress and this one is working just fine. I'm a bit disappointed in Coleman's quality control.
I returned the item to Amazon for a refund this time. When the replacement came it developed a leak in the same place. Was great right at first, but just a few days after getting it, it developed a leak around one of the small circles on the bottom of the mattress, so I returned it for a replacement. Thank you Amazon for great customer service. The seams around the coil circles are either not glued properly or just thin on some of the mattresses. I think if you are planning to use this for a one night trip or something similiar they may be okay, but if you or your guest plan on using it for more than a night or two I would definitely recommend something else. They had no problem with the original replacement or the refund. Both were done quickly and with no complications.
